Remembering past holidays, I recall a story we once used in a card sent many years ago. It bears repeating…….
An old Medicine Man told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people, explaining,
“My son, the battle is like that between two wolves.”
“One wolf is evil, as shown by anger, envy, greed, arrogance, false pride, resentment, lies, and ego.
The other is good, as shown by joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, empathy, truth, and faith.”
The grandson thought about these things for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
“Which wolf wins?”
The wise old grandfather replied,
“The one you feed.”
May you be blessed with Peace at Christmas and throughout the New Year!
