Wanted to share with you some of my completed projects over the past year.
I am grateful for having art in my life and for still being able to do what I love.
All the best to you in 2018!
The sculpture dedication of philanthropist, George Mitchell, as a cadet in 1940, along with its new Academic Complex, took place at Texas A&M University at Galveston, TX in December. Both were impressive celebrations of the many achievements of this growing campus solidifying its reputation as one of the premiere marine-oriented campuses in the nation.
“The Healer” was sold to the City of Boerne, TX for its proposed City Hall. This 48″x60″ painting tells the story of Dr. Herff, an early German settler in the area and his willingness to share his gift of healing with those who needed his help, whether Native American or others new to the Hill Country.
This commission for a Christmas surprise was for the owner of these family favorites. Many of us can relate to the contribution and companionship of animals in our lives.
The unveiling of the sculpture for “Goat Cave Ranch”, home of retired Senator and Mrs. Phil Gramm, took place in December and graces the entrance to near Helotes, Texas.
“Vision Quest” was sold during the Museum of Western Art Show & Sale in the Fall. This is just one example of new artwork from the easel during 2017.
To our patrons and friends, thank you for your continued support. As we go through changes and take on new projects, we are eager to stay connected as we…..share the journey…..
